Contribute to the design and optimization of user experiences across our lending products and origination flow. Drive user adoption, improve conversion rates, and ultimately increase overall business value. Shape and implement a user-centered design approach within the Lending workstream, ensuring all design decisions are data-driven and prioritize user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize Conversion & Abandonment: Integrate user-centered design practices into the origination flow to optimize conversion rates and reduce loan application abandonment.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Craft A/B testing experiments to inform a data-driven strategy for credit product optimization.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk to launch and implement new features across all credit workstreams, driving business value.
- User Comprehension: Measure and improve users' comprehension of key credit products (intro, cupo, grande).
- User-Centered Champion: Establish and champion a user-centered design approach within the Lending workstream, ensuring all design decisions are data-driven and prioritize user needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing user interfaces for financial products or complex B2C applications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment focused on A/B testing and user research.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices, with a passion for UI and interaction design.
- Expertise in user research methodologies (interviews, usability testing, surveys).
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma (experience with existing design systems a plus).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data, marketing).
- Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable design decisions.
- Strong visual design skills with a focus on user-friendliness, clarity, and detail-oriented optimization (especially for outdated UI elements).
- Experience mapping out workflows and wireframes with a focus on creating high-fidelity mockups (demonstrated in portfolio and design exercise).
- Understanding of holistic user flows across funnels, not just isolated screens.
- Experience working within the Fintech or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of lending products and regulations (bonus points).
- Experience with prototyping tools (bonus points).
