We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in the freight and brokerage segment.
This role is responsible for generating new business, building a strong sales pipeline, and closing new shipper accounts while supporting overall revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, networking)
- Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline
- Quote freight opportunities including FTL, LTL, and specialized shipments
- Negotiate rates and close new shipper accounts
- Maintain accurate activity tracking in CRM systems
- Work closely with operations and carrier sales teams to ensure service execution
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- New accounts acquired
- Revenue generated
- Gross margin contribution
- Sales activity volume (calls, emails, meetings)
- Pipeline conversion rate
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in freight sales, logistics sales, or brokerage sales
- Strong outbound prospecting skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly goal-oriented with a strong drive to hit targets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment
